Papé Machinery, Eugene, Ore., has a GPS product support team that can help customers maximize the technology's potential.  According to Papé, GPS can track a machine's largest operating expense, fuel consumption, to see how hard operators are working a machine; identify which machines in a fleet are underutilized by reviewing the amount of time machines are working at different load levels; find the exact location of a machine and send driving directions to service technicians and operators; provide instant alerts when a machine is experiencing trouble; track stolen equipment.
